A Trusted Team of Experts

The Doctors at St. Anthony’s Effingham are experts in their fields with a heart for the local community. Now, those experts have added the power of the da Vinci® Surgical System to their repertoire. Often called a “robot,” the da Vinci® assists your surgeon by enhancing their vision and precision leading to smaller incisions, reduced pain and trauma, less scarring and faster recovery.

An extension of your surgeon’s hands and eyes, the addition of da Vinci® is just another reason to choose HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital in Effingham.

A Surgeon’s Magic Wand

Through advanced robotic surgery utilizing technology like the da Vinci® Xi™ Surgical System, our surgeons are able to implement a streamlined surgical approach with a faster healing time for every patient, including less pain. The da Vinci® is a surgical system comprised of three components: surgeon console, patient-side cart, and vision cart.

HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital offers da Vinci® assisted surgery for many procedures, including colorectal and gynecological procedures.
