Women’s Wellness Center
A State-of-the-Art Home for All of Your Needs
HSHS St. Anthony’s Women’s Wellness Center combines the security of exceptional care with the comfort of caring individuals. We provide care to women from prevention, screening, and diagnosis to treatment and follow-up care in a consistent, compassionate and timely manner.
At our innovative and redesigned Women’s Wellness Center, we offer 3D mammography, which allows the radiologist to examine the breast tissue layer by layer. Instead of viewing all the complexities of breast tissue in a flat image (as with traditional 2D mammography), fine details are more visible and no longer hidden by the tissue above or below.
If a suspicious area is detected through mammography or ultrasound testing, a biopsy might need to be conducted, where a sample of cells or tissue is collected from the suspicious area for examination under a microscope by a pathologist. We offer the latest technology in the biopsy systems, including stereotactic and ultrasound-guided biopsies, which allow us to take images of the specimens during the time of the procedure which makes for a more accurate and shorter procedure.
Bone Density Exams
Bone densitometry is an enhanced form of x-ray technology that is used to measure bone loss. This physician-ordered exam, performed in our Dexa Scan room, is used to assess if you are at risk for osteopenia or osteoporosis. A bone densitometry test can also assess your risk for developing fractures.
Our Women’s Wellness Nurse Navigator assists patients through diagnosis and education to help them make informed decisions about their breast care. The Nurse Navigator is there to provide education and emotional support.
Breast Care/Breastfeeding Boutique
After a breast cancer diagnosis, St. Anthony’s Women’s Wellness Center offers a full line of Amoena Mastectomy and Lumpectomy products to meet every woman’s needs. We offer pre-surgical and post-surgical bras and prosthetic forms, as well as other products upon request. Certified mastectomy fitters are available on-site to ensure that women obtain an appropriate and comfortable fit.
To help give every baby and mom the healthiest start possible, St. Anthony’s Women’s Wellness is also here to offer support and education to moms and babies throughout their breastfeeding journey. We offer Certified Lactation Consultants to help any breastfeeding mothers who have questions or concerns.

Imaging & Diagnostics
What Your Need, When You Need It
Our Open MRI is a brand new Hitachi Oasis 1.2 Tesla High Field Open MRI system. It features a wide patient table for comfortable access and easy positioning, the open design is beneficial for pediatric patients and those who are claustrophobic, comfortable imaging for those with size limitations, and highly defined images of the extremities. Our Open MRI is equipped with the latest software, which allows for the use of motion correction parameters to increase the quality of scans for patients who are claustrophobic or unable to remain still.
Ultrasound is one of the most widely used diagnostic procedures available. It provides a safe, non-invasive and virtually painless means of observing soft tissue anatomy on an outpatient basis. Medical sonography (ultrasonography) is an ultrasound-based diagnostic medical imaging technique used to visualize muscles, tendons, and many internal organs, their size, structure and any pathological lesions with real time tomographic images. Obstetric sonography is commonly used during pregnancy.
The redesigned lab area has three private blood draw rooms. We offer in-room private registration of patients needing laboratory services along with full service Point of Care testing, drug screens, breath alcohol testing and EKG services. The availability of these services in this conveniently accessible location is a continuation of St. Anthony’s goal to provide integrated services to the patients and physicians we serve through both our main campus and outreach facilities.
The all-new Health Center offers the latest in health care technology to patients and physicians in our region. With this technology, those who come to St. Anthony’s Health Center can be assured that they are receiving the most advanced care close to home, at a convenient, all-in-one location.
The Carestream DRX-Excel Plus is a brand-new fluoroscopy x-ray unit. With fluoroscopy, a continuous x-ray beam is passed through the body part being examined. The beam is transmitted to a TV-like monitor so that the body part and its motion can be seen in detail. This unit has a table that has the ability to tilt a full 90 degrees for performance of all exam types and lowers to 19 inches, making it easily accessible for wheelchair patients.
Your Partners for a Health Life
The new Nutrition Services space in the Health Center is located on the 2nd Floor and is positioned to provide health and nutrition programs and education to all patients young and old from weight management to diabetes care.
The registered dietitians in our Nutrition Services provide high quality nutrition therapy to help prevent and manage conditions that affect your overall health, fitness and well-being.
Our approach to medical nutritional therapy starts with an assessment of your overall nutrition, medical information and dietary habits. We then use that information to create a personalized dietary plan.
We look forward to talking with you.
